John 3: 16-17 "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.  For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him."

Isaiah 1:18 "Come now, let us reason toghether," says the Lord. "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool."

As we were trampling around in the massive amounts of snow (for our area) that we had over the Christmas Holiday, God reminded me of what His Word says in Isaiah 1:18. That even though we have sinned, and strayed from doing what is right, we can always be cleansed and renewed in our spirit when we go to the Cross.  God sent Jesus to the cross, not only for our salvation, but also so that, through Him, our lives that were once filled with sin, can be clean, changed from scarlet to "as white as snow."

All it takes on our part is recognition that there is sin in our lives, confession, and asking for forgiveness, and God forgives us... simple as that!
